Scenario: Nuclear undergraduate
Zara was about to undertake her second year of a Nuclear Engineering MEng degree. She was struggling financially and was worried about her travel costs. Although she had aspirations to work in the UK Nuclear Industry she didn’t meet the eligibility criteria to apply to the main Fund so instead applied to the Bursary Scheme and was awarded a grant of £500.
“The TNIBF bursary has helped support me as I study Nuclear Engineering at university. It has helped pay for travel to and from campus so that I can focus more on studying rather than stressing over smaller things”
