The Nuclear Industry Benevolent Fund
The Nuclear Industry Benevolent Fund is a Registered Charity supporting those working or who have worked in the UK Nuclear Industry and their dependants through the provision of support, signposting and financial assistance.
The Fund was established in 1957 as the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) Benevolent Fund. In 1998 the Fund changed it’s name to the UBA Benevolent Fund and in 2013 it became The Nuclear Industry Benevolent Fund.

Mission StatementVision – To reach present, future and past UK nuclear industry workers who are experiencing financial distress or hardship; becoming a force for positive change in the lives of those individuals.
Mission – Through the provision of financial assistance, listening & support and signposting TNIBF aims to minimise financial distress and hardship wherever possible.
