The Nuclear Industry Benevolent Fund Community Grant Committee recently awarded funds to Caithness United Football Club to assist with travel costs. We received a note of thanks from the Club’s Chair and Coach, an excerpt of which is below:

“As a club based in one of the most remote parts of Scotland, travel represents one of our largest and most consistent financial challenges. The generous contribution from TNIBF will allow us to maintain current membership fees and continue providing accessible opportunities for our players.
Your support removes a significant burden and allows us to focus our energy on what truly matters—developing young players, providing opportunities, and ensuring that no child is excluded from the game due to geography or financial limitations.
This donation will make a real and immediate difference. It will allow our teams to participate in more competitive fixtures across the Highlands and beyond, ensuring our players gain valuable experience, exposure, and confidence. For many of these young people, these journeys are not just about football—they’re about growth, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.”

Absolutely fantastic to be able to make such a difference to the club. Good luck for the upcoming season!
